The Seattle Art Museum is running a special movie festival titled King of Cool: The Films of Steve McQueen.
The festival begins Thursday January 7th and continues weekly through till March 11. The calendar is: January 7: The Great Escape. January 14: Baby The Rain Must Fall. January 21: The Cincinnati Kid. January 28: Nevada Smith. February 4: The Sand Pebbles. February 11: The Thomas Crown Affair. February 18: Bullitt. February 25: Junior Bonner. March 4: The Getaway. March 11: Papillon. All screenings are at 7:30 p.m. A special highlight of the festival will be an appearance by Steve's first wife, Neile McQueen Toffel. Neile will attend the Feb 18th screening of Bullitt and speak about her late husband. |

Single feature tickets are available from the auditorium on the night of the screenings for $7.00 (cash only). Or series tickets (for all 10 films) may be purchased at the Ticketing Desk at any of SAM's three sites, or over the phone with a credit card by calling the SAM Box Office at 206.654.3121.
