|
La Galerie de l'Instant in Paris is proud to announce that beginning June 10th it will be hosting an exhibition of
photographs taken by famed French photographer François Gragnon. The photographs will chronicle the 1964 International Six Day
Trials, an elite event of skill and endurance in motorcycle sport. The 1964 event is of particular interest to McQueen fans
as Steve was a member of the 1964 US team, and included in Gragnon's exhibition will be approximately 30 images of Steve.
Gragnon, well known for his work with French celebrity magazine Paris Match, has photographed many of the world's most famous and beautiful celebrities, including Marlène Dietrich, Marlon Brando, Brigitte Bardot, Rudolf Noureev, Alfred Hitchcock, Catherine Deneuve, Sofia Loren and of course Steve McQueen. Mr Gragnon will be in attendance on the opening day of the exhibition. Also available will be a limited edition photo-book of the exhibition, which will be issued in 2 different versions; a hardcover edition, signed by the photographer (including a real print signed by him), and a smaller version, also signed by the photographer. La Galerie de l'Instant is located at 46, rue de Poitou, 75003 Paris.
